浣熊皮帽或皮草及浣熊尾制成的帽子都是印第安人的日常装扮。帽子本身是由皮草制成中号的圆形平边款式，帽子后面有一根浣熊尾附在上面。

这种帽子通常在打猎时使用，在20世纪50年代这种帽子比较常见，它在大卫克·罗克特的影片中开始大放光彩。
