域图花样指的是图案上的任何一块并不能成为边角的图案，如图案的主要部分。域图可以是多重设计或图案组成的，它们可以是有机几状的，可以使现实的或是超现实主义的。许多不同型号、色彩和重复的花纹可以再图案中实现，比起使用彩色织法更多花样都需要印染在成布上实现。
