Role Profile

Are you a strong communicator across multiple internal teams?
Are you prevalent with Microsoft Excel?
We are looking for an accomplished Merchandising Assistant to join the Buying and Merchandising team of this rapidly growing designer retailer. You will be afforded a large amount of autonomy to shape the role yourself, and grow within a fast paced business.
Responsibilities Include:
* Build and maintain successful relationships with key brand contacts
* Listing and placing orders with brands
* Checking order confirmations against order forms
* Ensuring the successful receipt of full ranges
* Work in sync with the buying team to proactively managing any delays or cancellations
* Adhoc admin tasks to support the buying and e-commerce merchandising team
* Action Monday Trade reporting and distribute to team
* Historical reporting in preparation for seasonal budget meetings
* Monitoring performance of continuity lines and proposing and actioning re-orders with brands
* Preparing sale lists to instruct stores clearly on sale/promotional actions
* Ownership of sale price activation on system under direction from the Head of Buying and managing Director
* Order raising on system
* Pre-seasonal buying appointment historical analysis
