Spring-Summer 2012 – This collection was like looking into a monastery. All clean lines and flowing skirts, Rick Owens took the maxi trend of last summer’s women’s wear and interpreted it in a gothic, sometimes priestly style.  He kept his pallet neutral with earthy greys , blacks and whites and boasted after the show that he “just invented the four piece suit” adding an unusual tunic to the usual jacket top and trouser combination.
