Salvatore Ferragamo

Spring-Summer 2012 – He wanted to convey a sense of joy and light which he achieved through colours and fabrics. His bold pieces in jade, navy and black have a shine to them; waxed jackets and shiny denim, and his lighter pieces are the same hues in pastels creating a very breezy summer feel.  He marries a colonial look with one that would be at home on the French Riviera, wide brimmed straw fedoras with belted jackets, preppy short sleeve cardigans and pastel sued boat shoes. At times the trousers are slightly baggier than expected but this possibly offers new levels of comfort to a trendy wardrobe.
