Ralph Lauren store opening in São Paulo

Posted on

Tonight, Ralph Lauren is hosting an event celebrating the opening of his first Brazilian store. Located on the ground floor of Cidade Jardim, a prominent São Paulo shopping centre, the store is set to commence retailing tomorrow.

The massive 9,100 square foot floor span will house Ralph Lauren’s mens and womenswear collections, as well as the brand’s iconic accessories and footwear. The interior design reflects Ralph Lauren’s heritage aesthetic with reclaimed oak beams, antique furniture and hand-woven rugs. Additionally, there will be a bar serving cocktails and small quantities of food.

As Brazilians constitute a large part of the brand’s international consumers, this store opening is a logical step for the company to make. “I have long been fascinated by the Brazilian lifestyle and culture and believe our first store in São Paulo will fit well into a country that appreciates traditions of true quality and luxury,” Ralph Lauren told Women’s Wear Daily earlier today.
