Rag & Bone DIY Project continues with Anglea Lindvall, Kirsten Owen and more

Rag & Bone’s DIY Project for FW14 features a stellar cast of some of the biggest names in the world of fashion: Laura Bailey, Malgosia Bela, Olympia Campbell, Angela Lindvall, Kirsten Owen and Cameron Russell.

Since its launch in 2011, 33 girls have styled and shot themselves in the campaigns, an aesthetic that’s resonated across the industry, especially with the growth of Instagram: “we are glad to see that the idea of capturing people the way they see themselves, as opposed to how others see them, has resonated,” explained Marcus Wainwright, Rag & Bone Managing Partner.

“There’s a carefree feel and spontaneity to all of the Projects, from Malgosia relaxing on vacation and Angela at home with her chickens to Cameron sharing her shots — and clothes — with friends,” added the other half of the British design duo, David Neville. 

Model and magazine publisher Russell shot her images in downtown Brooklyn near her studio, while Bela was with her husband Jean-Yves and dog Gypsy in the South of France. Other locations picked out include Toronto (where Kirsten Owen shot her snaps) and London (captured by Laura Bailey).
