A mere week after Calvin Klein announced that Raf Simons was taking a new, premier creative leadership position at the company, Simons released his collaboration with Adidas for Fall/Winter 2016.

The collection features a  marked ‘90’s affect. From the high-top Matrix Spirits that are distinctly reminiscent of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air styling, to the Stan Smith Triple-Strap Sneakers one might recall having begged for through middle school, the recent dip back into nostalgic styles has extended its reach into even this corner of fashion.

Simons’ redesigns are noted for the vibrant and unusual colors one might not expect on such shoes, from pastels to metallics, and feature perforated R’s on the side, as well as the designer’s name stamped at the heel. Along with the unusual and throwback-style colors, several pairs come in the monochromatic, bright colors the Stan Smiths have been produced in recently, marked by details like the piping, logo and laces in contrasting colors. Ranging in price from $330 to $415, the collection will be available in stores including Barney’s New York, Neiman Marcus, and Adidas concept stores later this August.
