H&M has previewed their new collaboration with artist The Weeknd, otherwise known as Abel Tesfaye. The brand has called the collaboration “a complete wardrobe of essential pieces” designed for men. “I love the mix of urban pieces like bombers and hoodies with tailored shirts and blazers,” Tesfaye explained. “Every piece is both effortless and fresh, which is just how menswear should be.”

Outerwear appears to be the focus of this collection handpicked by the singer, which features a bomber jacket, crewneck sweatshirt, hoodie, double-breasted coat and more along with trousers, jeans, t-shirts and knitwear.  Several of the pieces feature a scrawled ‘XO’ and a heart, a reference to Tesfaye’s record label and clothing brand, both titled XO.

“You can’t believe the Bionic dress is made from old plastic bottles,” H&M’s creative advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson told Vogue.com. “It’s a precious piece you can wear and cherish and save in your wardrobe. With the Conscious Exclusive Collections, we always try to find a new fabric or new technique. It’s where we try to push the boundaries of what’s possible with sustainable fabrics and show how beautiful the garments can be.” The full collection will be available in stores April 20 – Earth Day, uncoincidentally.
