Comptoir des Cotonniers & Serkan Cura feathered friends in new outerwear collaboration

Posted on

The two modular down jackets that Serkan Cura has created for Comptoir des Cotonniers are ultra contemporary in design, with couture feather finishing either on the sleeves and hood (€625), or the sleeves and collar (€525), as well as ton-sur-ton studded ornamentation for a glam rock and easy chic style.

Limited to 320 items around the world, the jackets go on sale at the start of November as part of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2014/15 collection.

Trained at the l’Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Antwerp, the former Jean Paul Gaultier prodigy set up his own couture house in 2012, showing in Paris, and has risen to fame with his feathered, metallic and woven womenswear pieces.

Owned by Uniqlo parent brand Fast Retailing, Comptoir des Cotonniers have previously collaborated with emerging Parisian designer Calla Haynes and with footwear brand New Balance.
